BIOGRAPHY

Heidi Sturgess is an English artist, illustrator and designer, currently based in London, Heidi was born in Sussex and grew up in Surrey, England. Heidi established her eponymous design brand in 2001, which now has a loyal international clientele.

After graduating with a BA Hons in 3D Design & Contemporary Jewellery in 1992, Heidi worked as a senior designer and head of design for a variety different companies, both couture and retail, on numerous international projects. Heidi launched her brand in 2001 with a first collection of jewellery which was hand printed with botanical illustrations. Heidi is an accomplished artist and has been designing and drawing from a very young age. At 15 years old, Heidi won a competition to design a storyboard for an Alvin Stardust pop video on BBC Saturday Superstore. Heidi and her winning video were rediscovered in 2011 by North One TV and have been featured on Britain’s Favourite Christmas Songs on Channel 5 every Christmas since.
